The Remembering Narrawong historic photograph display features 15 photographs of Narrawong and surrounds from the 1880s to the early 1980s.

The photographs are reproduced on large white signs and are displayed on fences along the Princes Highway within the township of Narrawong. They can all be viewed in an easy walk between the Narrawong Post Office and the Narrawong and District Primary School.

Images include community events, the general store, camping at Narrawong and the beach. Locals and long-term visitors alike are likely to see some people, places or cars they recognise!

All the original photographs have been generously shared by the Vern McCallum Collection, based in Allestree, near Narrawong.

They will be donated to the Primary School when the exhibition finishes. The photographs will be on display until mid-November.

Photos are displayed on both public and private fences. Thanks to those people who are hosting the exhibition on their fence!
